Annual NIDays Conference Shows the Power of Graphical Programming

Graphical system design increases productivity

July, 2011 – National Instruments introduces NIDays – The LabVIEW Conference, the annual event around graphical development of test, measurement and control systems. This year is the 15th consecutive year that NIDays is organized. Over the years the event has grown from a small virtual instrumentation seminar into an industry leading conference about graphical system design that attracts a wide variety of engineers, educators and scientists.

At NIDays – The LabVIEW Conference – National Instruments will also host a celebration of the 25th anniversary of LabVIEW. While the graphical programming API in LabVIEW hasn’t changed in the past 25 year, LabVIEW has evolved from a tool that was optimized for instrument control into the core system design software in numerous applications including test, embedded monitoring, machine vision, and advanced control.

NIDays – The LabVIEW Conference facilitates to anyone interested in measurement & control systems, regardless of their expertise in LabVIEW programming. Engineers without any knowledge of LabVIEW will learn from others about productivity gains, the intuitive way of programming and the good technical support. LabVIEW developers learn about possibilities for applying advanced signal analysis, FPGA technology, object-oriented programming, LabVIEW certification, and much more.

NIDays – The LabVIEW Conference will take place on 22 September in Lillestrøm. For more information on the conference, including technical tracks and sessions, visit www.ni.com/norway/nidays.
